Spring forward

Wow! The sun is shining, it’s a warm spring day and the children are out catching frogs in the pond, bliss!

O.K. I’m not that keen on frogs but they’re happy- the children that is, not so sure about the frogs. I’ve been spring cleaning – well more like blitzing actually. Getting rid of of everything we don’t need. It’s quite invigorating and refreshing. A lovely feeling of newness. It’s really healthy all round. Ever noticed how one action leads to another? Let me explain.

De clutter the house generally, clean out the fridge and the oven, feel everything is fresh and more healthy. Soak in a warm bath, scrub off dirt grime and dead skin cells, shower off the rubbish, wash hair in nice smelling shampoo. Starting to get the picture?

Feeling fresh clean and healthy, even outdoorsy, even tolerating frogs and squealing children. A breath of fresh air.

It’s a really positive feeling and it inspires me to continue helping others to achieve it. Many women have such a hard time knowing who they are and what their purpose is. Finding the balance of being a good mum, a working mum, a devoted wife/partner. Take a look at  the-self-belief-coach.co.uk and see how I work.

Wow time passes quickly! but yes I’m on track with my own health even ditched the caffeine but only because I can still drink cappuccino’s albeit the de-caff variety. The sun is shining today which always boosts my mood and good intentions.

Tip of the day, Look up at the sky and take a deep breath before you judge the weather. No really! looking up really makes a difference, try it and see for yourself. If you want to know why it works ask me…

Hello world!

Hello world indeed!

Yes the first in my new blog and I’m catching up with the modern world in a big way.

Well it’s a new year and new start for so many people. I do wonder if there are ever any statistics posted on the success rates of new beginnings in January. I mean I know the majority of resolutions are dust by mid-march so they say but I think for most of us announcing a failure isn’t high on the agenda, we just tend to go rather quiet and hope people stop asking by February.

So there’s an idea.

O.K. You’re right I should set the example.

Here it is then, my list of resolutions for 2009 and heaven help me a space to announce my success for all to see, yes right the way through to December. What is this ‘Confessions of a health coach online’?

No.1 To maintain this blog on a (semi) regular basis for the entire year.

No.2 To maintain a harmonious home through my own state management at all times. Mmm…. yep that’s a big one and yes state management is the simple key to keeping everyone smiling. I’ll post more about that sometime this month for those who are eager to know exactly how a person can chose their mood and reaction at any given time.

No3 To maintain optimum health for myself, despite the random weather and mass of ‘germs’ brought home by the brood. Mainly though drinking enough water and doing some form of exercise on a not quite daily basis ( I’m a great believer in moderation) – and yes that is what I preach!!!

No4 To finish my books. all two of them… Oh did I not mention that? I’m writing a couple of books one fiction and one non-fiction just to keep the balance.

So there you go. My published list. It’s not huge but it covers the basics and gives me a few challenges to face this year. Yes I do have much bigger goals than that but goals are not New Year Resolutions. Goals for the year ahead will be covered at some other time, I’ll keep you posted.
